Question 1

Does Disallow remove a page from Google?

Accepted Answer

No — this is a common mistake. Disallow only blocks crawling; a URL linked from elsewhere can still be listed without content. To remove it, the page must be crawlable and return noindex.

Question 2

Can I hide sensitive paths with robots.txt?

Accepted Answer

It does the opposite: robots.txt is public, so you'd be publishing a list of the paths you want hidden. Real restriction requires authentication.
